Two Steps Forward one Step Back

Be patient with yourself while in this process of ascension. Many times you may feel as though you are not always progressing.  Imagine you are ascending in a spiral and you come back around to similar circumstances but you are further away each time.  Flashbacks can occur, moments you relive that can come through during unexpected times. You are in a meeting, walking in a store aisle, driving along the freeway and all of the sudden you play back an episode that is hurtful and you brings back the emotions as you relive it and it hurts to your bones and you want to just impode.  You may even manifest anxiety attacks as you process these flashbacks.   Remember that the anger, sadness, hurt is from fear.  You must change your perspective but first you must decompress and de-escalate yourself.

These flashbacks are all part of the process and can manifest in various ways.  It is common to gain weight around your midsection, have blurring vision, wake up at various hours that should progress over time and then gently release.  You are in ascension.  There is a point on your chest about two inches below your collar bone on either side you can feel for. It should be more intense and tender and serves as an emotional valve. You want to find that tender point press gently and exhale deeply. You can also practice EFT tapping gently along you face if you are in a place that allows for you to do so comfortably.  If you don't know what EFT tapping is, I encourage you to research and try. 
You may also want to hold your hand to your heart in instances that seem overwhelming or as you feel a thought come through and gently close your eyes for a moment and affirm:

I release you with love

Try different things,  One may serve in one moment and not in another.  Do not judge yourself, you are transforming at a divine pace. You must have a variety of tools to choose from so that you can continue to move along the spiral in ascension with ease, love and compassion for yourself.  Create your own affirmations keeping words and phrases in the positive.

If They are not Ready, You are not Ready

With the assumption that you have read and dived into the world of Twin Flames and have an idea of some of the basic concepts, we springboard here to the beautiful place where you transition to accepting your growth into physical separation. You are never truly separate from you twin as you are infinitely tied to them at the soul level and can access communication with them if you so choose to do so through meditation or other means. You begin to surrender to the acceptance that they do not belong to you.  That these intense feelings are for your expansion and not romantic, as your ego believes.  That does not mean it cannot become romantic.  Romance is not the purpose.  The purpose is your transformation.  They push all the right buttons to help crack open ego and expose the true you that is reflected in your mirror.

What you see in them is what is in you.  All the criticisms, all the frustrations you have in your twin, is in you.  Where are you lying to yourself? What are you running from? If you are still angry and suffering, begin to shift perspectives.  Pick one thing a day and begin to change how you look at it.  They lied about this one specific thing! Why?! What is it representing in me!? Begin to be grateful for it and accept it as a gift, a lesson, a stepping stone to you, the true you. Smile as you understand the true deep meaning behind the lie.  I don't have that answers, no psychic, guide, nor guru have the answers, they are found in you. Take time with each lesson.  Do not judge yourself if the lesson comes back into your mind.  Recognize their intensity and focus on lowering them over time.  There is no time frame, time does not exist.  As you release the lessons, they are helping you and in turn, helping the you in the mirror.

You are not waiting for them, you are waiting for you.  You think you are evolved and spiritual and more attuned, you are not. Their lack of readiness is your lack of readiness.  Their masks are your masks.  I invite you to begin to release the blame and find the major themes of anger and frustration, sadness and suffering that you feel your twin is making you feel.  Recognize wholeheartedly that these are themes you must work on within you.  Recognize they are a mirror.  I know you have read it before.  You understand it intellectually.  You need to embody the understanding of mirror and sit in this understanding with your heart, your mind, and your soul.  Hold your hands to your heart and affirm:

I recognize my mirror
I recognize my lessons
I accept the gifts
I am grateful for this experience
I release my previous perspectives, with love and compassion

The Beginning of Separation

I begin this blog as a need to heal myself and help others like you and I, to soothe the journey.  Many times have I thought, "okay, this is the separation," to quite soon later, find myself entangled in the emotions of my twin flame.  I read a beautiful article this morning and felt myself really opening up my heart to release the obsession and hurt after 4 years of holding on to hope, waiting for them to come back without leaving again.  From my perspective, they just need to wake up! They need to drop ego! They have to evolve! I am surrendering, why is this not working?!

I have exhausted my body and my mind and finally settling in to understanding that it is about me.  I need to still wake up, drop ego, and evolve. I began a journey of mindful self-love months ago, and I barely am able to see the light from the dark pit I had descended into. I accept our separation, in fact grateful now, so I can love myself and set us free. The ultimate goal is free will, absolute love, and true compassion.

For starters, where ever you are on your journey, assess your self-love.  Can you go deeper? Go deeper. Are you mindful daily of you? Begin a regimen to love yourself daily.  As you cook yourself something, stop and smile. This act is nourishing your body with love and compassion.  After a shower, put lotion on your body.  As you put lotion on your body, smile with gratitude, how wonderful it is to have this delicious, lovely body of mine. With its unique curves and delicately placed details, my body is like no other.  Everyday you begin a journey of self-love.

Use the following affirmation and really feel as if you embody each concept.  You are peace itself.  You as forgiveness itself on this earth.  You radiate gratitude as you walk this earth.  You are compassion itself.  You are love itself and the universe itself.
